Delta at 34: Speaker Guwor Rallies Citizens Behind Oborevwori’s Vision ~ Truth Reporters

 

Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has urged citizens to unite behind Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration in building a more prosperous and progressive state as Delta marks its 34th anniversary.

 

In a goodwill message to Deltans, conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Guwor described the anniversary as a celebration of resilience and progress but stressed that more work must be done to achieve the dreams of the state’s founding fathers.

 

The Speaker, who represents Warri South-West and also serves as National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, pledged that the Assembly under his watch will remain committed to advancing the welfare of Deltans.

 

“To the noble sons and daughters of Delta State, I rejoice with you on this momentous occasion of our state’s 34th anniversary. Let us reflect on our journey so far, acknowledging the strides we have made and the challenges we have overcome,” he stated.

 

Guwor hailed past administrations for laying foundations of growth while commending Governor Oborevwori for his “focused, vibrant and visionary leadership,” particularly in security and infrastructural development.

 

He charged Deltans at home and abroad to sustain the spirit of unity and determination, saying: “Let us continue to work together, leveraging our diversity and strengths to drive development and growth.”

 

The Speaker wished the people peace, happiness, and prosperity, praying that God would continue to bless the state and guide it towards a brighter future.
