The politcal leader of  Ward 10, Idumuesah in lka North East local government Area and the Executive Director in charge of Operations  of Delta State lnternal Revenue Service ( DSIRS), Professor Frank Onyisi Nwugo Esq , has described former Governor and PDP Vice Presidential Candidate in the 2023 elections , Senator Dr lfeanyi Okowa, as a leader and mentor & a political exaclopeadia whose footprints in the political landscape of Delta is indelible

The DSIRS ED Operations also stated that the former Governor , the first Anioma son to become Delta State Governor , has blazed the trail in public service with much candour , humility and refinement of godly character from the rank & file of polical ladder haven been the first Secretary of Ika North East LGA, Chaiman, Commissioner in different MDAs,SSG, Senator & a two terms Governor & Vice Presidential Candidate of PDP in 2023 Presidential election.

In a congratulatory message to the former Governor to mark his 66th birth anniversary  today  Tuesday July 8, 2025, Professor Frank Nwugo said Senator Dr lfeanyi Okowa,s contributions to the growth and development of lka nation in particular and Delta State in general , resonated across the entire 25 local government areas of the state

The ldumesah Ward 10 political leader said Okowa,s political journey as a detribalized leader, mentor, political colossus and role model , has endeared him to so many old and young alike ,and to  himself as case study

Professor Nwugo noted that  Okowa,s undeniable knowledge of the dynamics and application of power , such that his meteoric rise in politics , from humble beginnings of Councilor , Secretary to local government , Chairman, Commissioner , Senator and Governor , speak volumes of a great political leader and achiever
