Chief Nani, fondly known as the *Awemutuwevwi* of Idjerhe Kingdom, gave the commendation at his country home in Jesse Town when he hosted the children of the late Uzzi, who paid him a courtesy visit.
He expressed particular joy at their gesture, noting that he was pleased they came to appreciate the Delta State Government for the role played by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori during their father's burial.
Chief Nani emphasized that not many people would remember to show such gratitude and urged the people of Idjerhe Kingdom to continue supporting the Oborevwori-led administration so that more developmental projects would reach the community.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Barr. Timothy Emeje praised the DESOPADEC Chairman for his immense support during and after their father's funeral.
He noted that Chief Nani played a pivotal role in ensuring that the ceremony was colourful and well attended, bringing many dignitaries to the community and providing generous financial support.
