Dagidi Andaye: One Year of Impact in Bomadi ~ Truth Reporters

The ongoing inspection of projects executed under one year in office of the 25 local government council Chairmen in Delta State , has commenced with an on the spot assessment of projects in Bomadi local government under the leadership of Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, showcasing verifiable landmark quality projects

The projects , ranging from an ultra modern Chapel , the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori ultra modern Event centre with overflow, staff quarters , Vice Chairman,s lodge , High Court complex and Judge,s quarter, renovated Chairman,s lodge, and landmark access roads to the Chairman,s office, high court and judge,s quarters, among others , was a testament of filial responsibility of an elected Council Chairman , to his community , in this case , the Bomadi people

According to Delta State Council Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ), Comrade Churchill Oyowe , who led the council,s inspection of projects team to Bomadi local government, it is the duty of the media to hold government accountable , according to extant laws of the Nigerian constitution

While commending the Bomadi Council chairman, Hon Dagidi Andaye, for blazing the trail in being the first Council Chairman among the 25 local government Councils , to accede to the union,s request to inspect projects undertaken since their assumption of office on July 15, 2024, Comrade Oyowe hinted that at the end of the appraisal , the best performing local government ,in terms of purposeful impact on their various local governments, will be announced

Earlier , while receiving the inspection team of the NUJ Delta State Council, to the council chambers , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , stated that his emergence as Council Chairman was divine, hence his resolve to bequeath a chapel to dedicate his administration,s activities to God, as the first project which is already completed and due for commissioning

The vibrant Chairman who reeled out his people friendly policies to include monthly support for the elderly , renovation of primary health centres ,  provision of two Sienna space buses to boost internal security in the LGA , as well as the completion of the world class ultra modern Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori ultra modern events centre and , overflow , in addition to a befitting first of it's kind Vice Chairman,s lodge , among other projects, were deliberate initiatives geared towards giving back to the community

The Bomadi Council Chairman, also added that his administration , within the one year of his assumption of office , broke the 17 year jinx of the local government being without electricity supply , by powering Bomadi to the national grid, a fear he described as "tasking"

Highpoints of the maiden inspection of projects visit to the 25 local government areas in the state by the leadership of NUJ Delta state council which kick-started at Bomadi local government council area, were inspections to many road projects , and series of quality infrastructural projects across Bomadi local government
