Performance only way to save your job, Oborevwori warns Exco members ~ Truth Reporters

As the rumours making the rounds on imminent dissolution of the State Executive Council, gains ground, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , has affirmed that only performance will save the job of his executive council members

In addition, the Governor , was strident on service delivery as part of the terms of conditions to save any Commissioner,s job

Governor Oborevwori gave the clear insight , as he inaugurated eight duplexes at the Commissioners quarters in Asaba

According to the Governor , there had been a lot of speculations making the rounds, over the imminent dissolution of the state executive council. The Governor stated categorically that non performing Commissioners will lose their jobs

While commending the Commissioners in the state , for their loyalty and hardwork, Governor Oborevwori revealed that under performing ones, will be weeded out

Said the Governor:" if there is a problem in any ministry, hold the Commissioner responsible . Any ministry that is doing well , shows that the Commissioner is doing very well"

On the commissioning of the housing projects in the Commissioner,s quarters , the Governor disclosed that eight units of four-bedroom duplexes, each with two boys quarters attached, are part of the addition to the 22 buildings at the Commissioners quarters

Said the Governor :" So, there was no way we could accommodate all our Commissioners, which led us to this decision. This is a demonstration of our commitment to the well being of top government functionaries"

Earlier , the Commissioner for Housing , Mr Godknows Angele, thanked Governor Oborevwori for his support towards the completion of the project
