Otuaro Hails Delta Assembly At 2-Year Milestone ~ Truth Reporters

 

As the Delta State House of Assembly marks its second anniversary, former Deputy Governor H.E. Dcn. Kingsley B. Otuaro has extended warm congratulations to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, and all members of the 8th Assembly.

In his congratulatory message, Otuaro described the milestone as a momentous achievement, not just for the legislative institution but for the people of Delta State whose mandate the House carries. 

He praised the lawmakers for their dedication in sustaining the legislature as a vital pillar of democracy.

Looking ahead, he urged the Assembly to focus on passing laws that directly impact the lives of Deltans, calling for deeper attention to legislation that addresses pressing societal issues. 

He also emphasized the importance of unity, people-centered governance, and adherence to integrity and transparency.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE ON THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF THE DELTA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

I extend my warm congratulations to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, and to all Honourable Members of the 8th Assembly, as you mark the second anniversary of your legislative journey.

This milestone is a significant moment not only for the House but for the people of Delta State, whose mandate you carry. I commend your collective commitment so far in sustaining the legislative arm as a vital pillar of democracy, and in upholding the responsibilities of lawmaking, representation, and oversight.

As you reflect on the achievements of the past two years, I urge you to deepen and continue to  focus on impactful legislation—laws that will continue to address the real issues facing our people.

I also encourage the House to remain united, people-focused, and guided by the values of integrity, transparency, and service.

May the Assembly continue to work in synergy with the executive and judiciary to strengthen governance and uphold the hopes and expectations of Deltans.
