UYLA declares unwavering support for Oborevwori till 2031 ~ Truth Reporters
- Inducts 65 new members

The Urhobo Youth Leaders' Association (UYLA) has reaffirmed its support for Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Orohwedor Francis Oborevwori, pledging to back his administration until he completes his two terms in 2031.
The UYLA made this commitment during a significant Extra Ordinary General Assembly meeting and induction of new members at the Ultra Modern Hall, Gas Plant Hotel, Otor-Udu on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
UYLA's National Secretary, Olorogun (Dr) Augustine Ogheneovo Atiti, presented a comprehensive overview of the Association's journey, discussing both challenges overcome and successes achieved. Atiti emphasised that UYLA members are not just youths, but leaders and influencers among the youths, underscoring their responsibility and impact.
The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council and UYLA-BOT Secretary, Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode (JP) hosted the meeting and unveiled a new wrapper for the Association and urged members to continue supporting the UYLA's mission.
UYLA's National President, Olorogun (Amb) Samuel Onoriode Oghotomo (JP), formally inducted and welcomed the 65 new members selected from the 24 Kingdoms of Urhobo to the Association, emphasising the importance of representing the Urhobo Nation with integrity and honour.
Comr Augustine Ogude from Idjerhe Kingdom, on behalf of the newly inducted members of UYLA, expressed gratitude and pledged their commitment to supporting the UYLA's mission and objectives.
Prominent leaders sent financial support and goodwill messages, including UYLA's Patron, Olorogun (Barr.) John Nani; BOT Chairman, Olorogun (Comr.) Francis Omochovwen Arhiyor (JP), Uvwie Local Government Council Chairman, Olorogun Anthony Onoriode Ofoni; and BOT member, Olorogun (Dr.) David Patrick Onajophe.
