Continue support for Oborevwori, Okocha urges Ogwashi-Uku Ward 3 PDP members, empowers 105 party faithful ~ Truth Reporters

The Leader of PDP Ward 3 Ogwashi-uku and Elder Statesman , Chief AC Okocha, has charged party faithfuls from Agidiehe voting units in the ward , to continue to support the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, assuring them of more dividends of democracy.


Okocha , the National Chairman of Ogwashi-Uku People's Democratic Party Leaders and Elders Forum ( OPDPLEF), also pledged to continue to strengthen them economically , in order to encourage them to develop their economic base.


The Ogwashi-Uku PDP Ward 3 Leader , made the promise at his ACOM house Country home in Ogwash , headquarters of Aniocha South , during an empowerment parley where over 105 party members from the Agidiehe polling units of ward 3 Ogwashi-uku, benefitted with cash grants running into millions of naira.


According to Chief AC Okocha, the PDP- led government of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , through the MORE agenda , had impacted on the lives of Deltans in so many areas of human endeavour that need no more validation.



The OPDPLEF Chairman added that in line with the Governor's human capital development policies which has seen to the empowerment in skills for over 275,000 Deltans and still counting, he decided to appreciate members of the party in his Agidiehe polling units of  Ward 3 Ogwashi-Uku , with cash grants, to cushion the effect of the current economic challenges , assuring them that the exercise is a continuous one.



In their separate remarks at the event , the Councillor representing Ward 3 at the Aniocha South Legislative Arm , Hon ( Dr) Patrick Onyekanake, and the Party,s Ward 3 Chairman , Hon Ifechukwude Okonkwo, tasked the recipients to remain committed to the ideals of the party , affirming that the umbrella is big enough to cover them at all times.



They also lent their voice to the ward leader, Chief Okocha,s promise that more dividends of democracy would be their lot , and as such harped on the need for them to remain loyal , united and committed members of the party.



Responding on behalf of the Agidiehe polling units beneficiaries of Chief AC Okocha,s largesse, Mr Ogwu Eboka thanked the kind donor for his large heart of benevolence , while pledging that they ( the recipients) will continue to be loyal party members and support the PDP led government at all levels in the area.



The Supervisory Councilor in charge of Agriculture in Aniocha South , Mr Francis Okocha , the Vice Chairman of the ward , Mr lnoko , the woman leader , Maureen Chidi , among other ward executives , witnessed the empowerment programme.
