Return to Warri, Oborevwori tells SPDC ~ Truth Reporters









Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has called on Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and other international oil companies to come back to Warri.

Governor Oborevwori stated this yesterday when the SPDC's Joint Venture (JV), Nigeria's 63rd Independence celebration at the company's residential area pitch, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

The Governor was represented by the State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode said, his administration's his agenda of M.O.R.E will create a conducive environment for IOCs and other multinational organisations to thrive in the state.

The governor used the medium to urge SPDC to come back and occupy their exalted position so as to play more prominent roles in building the society of our dreams in Delta State.

"Deltans are peace loving people and the environment is very conducive for you to operate in with the M.O.R.E Agenda of the government.

"All issues as regards hostilities are now alien to us as all ethnic groups now live together as one indivisible family and we can guarantee your safety and smooth running of your operations," he said.
