Wonder Chukwunweike Ocheli is the CEO of Nwiki Enterprise. He hails from Umutu in Ukwuani Local Government Area. He has B.Sc. (Edu) in Physics. He enrolled into the Delta State Government’s Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP) in the 2016/2017 cycle. He was trained and established in Fish Production at YAGEP Fish Farm Cluster in Ugbokodo-Okpe. He received two earthen fish ponds, 122 bags of feed and 2,000 post-juvenile fish. He shares his experience after six years in business.

“I was single and in search of a white collar job before I enrolled into YAGEP. Today, I am happily married with two children and I no longer search for employment. I live in my own house.

“After establishment with Starter Pack, we were formed into groups and supported with two smoking kilns, a pumping machine and a scale. I am doing very well in my business. I have trained three persons and currently I have three casual staff members.

“I diversified into fish processing, vegetable farming and palm oil production. I acquired a plot of land, built a house and bought a car from my businesses.

“I have also acquired a drip irrigation system, palm oil milling machine and digester. Currently, I have 2,000 fish in my ponds. YAGEP gave me my first opportunity to own my personal business.”
