Peace & Security: Iloba urges Umu-Anioma to sustain support for Okowa ~ Truth Reporters
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Delta State Governor on Security matters, Ogbueshi Cassidy Nduka Iloba has urged all Anioma indegines in particular and Deltans in general to continue to support the Governor lfeanyi Okowa's administration in ensuring that the relative peace and security being enjoyed in the state is sustained.
Ogbueshi Cassidy lloba gave the advice in Asaba while receiving an Outstanding leadership award from the Umu Anioma Solidarity Movement for his invaluable contribution in the areas of peace and security in the state.
He rated the Governor high in the areas of bringing dividends of democracy to the people, especially in infrastructure, human capital development, peace and security, among others
While thanking the group for deeming him worthy of their recognition, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on security matter, urged them to remain vigilant in their various communities and join hands with government in fishing out undesirable elements.
Earlier in his address, the National President of the Umu Anioma Solidarity Movement, Jerry Ezeagwu, said the SSA to the Governor on Security Matters, Ogbueshi Cassidy lloba, was found deserving of the group's award, owing to his Sterling performance in assisting the security agencies checkmate the incidents of security breaches not only in Delta North but also across the state.
Describing the awardee as a true son of Anioma, Chief Ezeagwu urged him not to relent in his efforts as posterity will remember him for his patriotic services to fatherland.
Highpoints of the award ceremony which was attended by the group's executive body, was the decoration of Ogbueshi Cassidy lloba with their Akwuocha made muffler as well as presentation of the award plaque.
