Ukodhiko rejoices with IDU President, Akpotu on birth anniversary ~ Truth Reporters

The PDP candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Pastor Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated the President General of Isoko Development Union (IDU) Prof Christopher Akpotu on the occasion of his birth anniversary ON June 3.

In a statement on Friday at his hometown in Erawha-Owhe, Ukodhiko described the IDU’s helmsman, Prof Akpotu as a “Nigerian Federalist, Isoko patriot and intellectual of remarkable brilliance“

According to him, “Prof Akpotu has over the years as President General of the Isoko Development Union, shown capacity, exuding uncommon strength, boldness, strong character, remarkable candour, and maturity in handling the affairs of the Isoko people. 

“As a cerebral scholar, our highly respected President General has brought to bear, his erudition and administrative experience in piloting the affairs of the umbrella socio-cultural organization of all Isoko people, IDU. 

“Under his watch as President General, Prof Akpotu commendably promotes peaceful coexistence, cohesion of Isoko, and ensures the sustenances of the vision of the founding fathers of the IDU. 

“I must commend you, for promoting the Isoko identity, and your efforts in addressing the challenges of IDU for overall interest of Isoko”

Expressing optimism, Ukodhiko assured that , “once elected as a member of the House of Representatives, I’ll  collaborate with you in a determined effort aimed at putting IDU in national consciousness like other socio-cultural associations. 

“This collaborative effort to me, will help in expressing our opinions on national issues, and articulate our hopes and aspirations.”

While assuring of his commitment to promote the interest of the Isoko people through constructive engagements with the IDU, Ukodhiko prayed to God for good health and more wisdom on the President General of IDU, Prof Akpotu in his service to the Isoko nation
