Ukodhiko congratulates sports administrator, Solomon Ogba at 62 ~ Truth Reporters

A top PDP contender for the Isoko Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Pastor Engr. Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated former President of Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN, Chief Solomon Ogba on his 62nd birth anniversary on Sunday, May 1.

In a message of felicitation issued to the press at his hometown in Otor-Igho, on Sunday Ukodhiko described Ogba as an illustrious son and leader of Isoko nation, a gifted sports administrator, a trailblazer, pathfinder and genial politician whose contributions to the development of Delta are immeasurable.

In his words, “Chief Solomon Ogba over two decades has projected Delta State in shining light especially in the eight years he served the State as Commissioner of Sports”

“In taking Delta State sports to enviable heights, Chief Ogba as a member of the Delta State Executive Council ensured sports in the State was given significant attention, and what came out was the discovery of talents, training and training of athletes, the establishment of stadia in major cities of the Delta State and many other interventions“

Ukodhiko commended Chief Solomon Ogba for using his position as a Civil Commisioner (1999-2007) in elevating and protecting the Isoko interest.

The former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Ukodhiko prayed God to grant Chief Solomon Ogba more years in good health and sound mind as he continues to serve Isoko nation, Delta State and Nigeria.
