Ukodhiko celebrates with Ikpokpo on birth anniversary ~ Truth Reporters

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Pastor Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated former Chairman of Isoko South Council, Chief Itiako Ikpokpo on his birth anniversary on Wednesday. 


Ukodhiko in a congratulatory message described Ikpokpo, the Atanaru of Irri Kingdom as a “genial friend, who has distinguished himself as a highly successful entrepreneur, astute public administrator, and a friendly politician of note”.


He lauded the Irri-born politician for his exemplary leadership and his immense contributions to the growth and development of Isoko nation especially during the six years he held sway as Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council.


In his words, “in your dual capacities as Isoko South Council Chairman and as Chairman of Delta State ALGON for six unbroken years, you helped in repositioning our Local Government values in line with the vision of the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. 


“Over the years, you have endeared yourself to me as a brother and as a friend, who as a critical stakeholder in our constituency is utterly committed to the service of our Isoko people. 


“My dear brother, I value our friendship and I appreciate the magnanimity and graciousness displayed by you at the recently held House of Representatives primary election of our party, the PDP last Sunday at Oleh. 


“My Chairman, As you celebrate your special day, I invite you to join me in the task of consolidating on both the political and socio-economic development of our Federal Constituency," he said. 


The Former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko prayed to God Almighty to grant Chief Itiako Ikpokpo, more wisdom and enablement to be of service to the Isoko nation.
