Afahokor to Oborevwori, your victory well-deserved ~ Truth Reporters

 

A grassroot politician and face of development advocacy, Chief Duncan Afahokor has congratulated Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his emergence as the governorship candidate of PDP in the state. 

Speaking to Truth Reporters in Asaba, Afahokor, a renowned lawyer and crisis manager said the victory of Oborevwori from a very competitive contest was well-deserved. 

He said that the Okpe-born politician was renowned for his outstanding commitment to friendship and lauded him for his MORE Agenda which according to him will help advance development in the state. 

"The news of the victory of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as the standard flag bearer of our dear party was not unexpected as he was generally accepted across the entire state. 

"As the longest-serving Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Oborevwori alongside his colleagues have continued to churn out legislations aimed at improving the living conditions of the people. 

"Let me also use this opportunity to congratulate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the state leadership of the PDP for organising a free, fair and acceptable party primaries across the state. 

"I also urge those who lost in the party primaries to accept defeat in good faith and support the winners to ensure that the party becomes victorious in the general elections." 

The Umeh-born community leader and urged Deltans and other stakeholders to support the emergence of Oborevwori in the 2023 general elections assuring that with his MORE Agenda he will advance Delta further from where Governor Okowa would stop.
