Firm applauds AGIP for releasing resources to curtail oil bunkering ~ Truth Reporters

Major Oil servicing firm, Augoe and Sons, has commended the effort of AGIP Oil and Gas in their fight against illegal oil bunkering and for providing human and material resources for this purpose.

Thanking AGIP for providing the needed environment and logistics, Managing Director of Augoe and sons Nigeria Limited, Mr Osifihor Omamoke emphasized their resolve for zero bunkering in the isoko and Ndokwa axis of Delta State.

Osihor  made the statement today during the presentation of  operational vehicles to surveillance coordinators and strategic meetings with key stakeholders in the security industry, including the DSS, Army, Police and Civil Defense.

He noted that the company recently apprehended some pipeline vandals and are already on their way to the prison and therefore charged the coordinators to  be up and doing inorder to consolidate on the fight against  illegal bunkering.

“We want  to thank NAOC for approving the engagement of over a thousand youths within host communities with the needed resources to curtail illegal oil bunkering and pipe line vandalism”

“We have taken delivery of security patrol vehicles, hilux vans, Sienna buses, and other utility vehicles to enhance smooth surveillance of oil facilities within the Ndokwa and Isoko regions of Delta State”. He said.

He also revealed that high power speed boats for creeks and riverine territories have been delivered in order to ensure thorough security of pipe lines and other NAOC oil and gas facilities and installations in those areas. 

He noted that strategic security posts and checks have been mounted around the mandate area to enhance proper surveillance and monitoring  of oil facilities.

In their various reactions, state commanders of the different security agencies visited, thanked NAOC for their effort and expressed their readiness to partner with Augoe and sons to ensure smooth operations.
