Okowa’s Aide Bags YPLS Ambassadorial Appointment ~ Truth Reporters










Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Amb. Elvis Akpobi has been appointed by the Young Political Leadership School Africa as its Ambassador to Nigeria.


The appointment comes after Amb Elvis led a high power delegation sponsored by the Delta State Government to attend the Cohort 8 of the Young Political Leadership School Africa in Monrovia.


Amb Elvis who upon his arrival from the intensive capacity building training promptly put into practice all learnt, creating an atmosphere for improved efficiency and performance among young leaders in the state.


The appointment letter which read "Based on merit, you have been selected to serve as an Ambassador of the YPLS Africa in your country

in recognition of your outstanding participation during the training in Monrovia, Liberia, and the impact you have made with the knowledge gained so far." 





On his Ambassadorial duties, he is to promote and protect the values, integrity, and principles of the Young Political Leadership School Africa while impacting his community and Africa at large.


The YPLSA had before now commended the Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his enviable human capital development within the state, noting that the number of youths who had become responsible mentors and beacons of hope through Gov. Okowa's implemented policies was worth emulating. 


In acceptance, Amb Akpobi appreciated the YPLSA for the opportunity to impact more lives promising not to disappoint. 


He further appreciated the Delta State Governor who had done immeasurably well in the lives of the younger generation in Delta State. He also appreciated the Principal Secretary to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Hillary Ibegbulem who gave him a platform to showcase himself. He called for support from All Nigerians to enable him perform the task ahead meritoriously.
