Owhefere was an outstanding lawmaker - LEPSA ~ Truth Reporters

The late member presenting Isoko North in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Tim Kome Owhefere, has been described as an extraordinary lawmaker who had an imprint in most of the policies and legislative initiatives that transformed the state.

The League of Professionals for Strategic Advocacy (LEPSA) stated this in a condolence message to the Speaker and members of the Delta State House over the demise of their colleague.

Until his passing, Hon. Owhefere was the Majority Leader of the House.

LEPSA noted that the untimely death of the lawmaker who it said was a peace maker and consensus builder is a huge loss to the law making body and the entire state.

Hon. Owhefere was described as a rallying point for major policy thrusts that have had profound effect in developing the state.

The group noted that the late lawmaker and politician had a distinguished career that endeared him to his constituency.

LEPSA prayed for the repose of his soul and for his family the fortitude to bear the huge loss at this difficult time.
They urged Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to extend to other lawmakers the condolence and best wishes of the group.
