COVID-19: See latest updates as Delta discharges 637, records 8 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State yesterday recorded 8 new cases of the Coronavirus infections bringing the total to 1423.

The State also has successfully treated and discharged 637 patients with 747 cases as active.

The State Ministry of Health confirmed the figures in their latest report.

Delta still ranks 6th among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo and Rivers. The state has so far carried out tests on 5,524 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.

The state also lost 39 patients on account of the pandemic.
