Izeze hails Obakpor Engineering on completion of Ovwor, Effurun-Otor bridge ~ Truth Reporters

Member Representing Ughelli South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Comrade Reuben Izeze has congratulated the Chairman and management of Obakpor Engineering Limited on the successful completion of the historic Ovwor-Olomu, Effurun-Otor bridge.



Izeze who represents both communities in the state assembly said he was elated on the news of the completion of the bridge which has suffered several years of abandonment.

Izeze stated that Obakpor Engineering has made a bold statement as a first class indigenous construction company ready to challenge for bigger projects.

"I read the news (online) of the giant stride that has been achieved by you and your indigenous construction firm, Obakpor Engineering Ltd.

"I recall with nostalgia the journey towards the actualisation of this 30 years long dream, which commenced with our modest contribution during the campaigns preceeding the 2015 Gubernatorial/House of Assembly elections at your country home in Ovwor.

"The award of the contract and now completion of the Ovwor/Effurun-Otor bridge is indeed a watershed in the socio-economic life of our people and a bold statement to the technical/entrepreneurship capacity of our indigenous peoples/firms if given the enabling environment.

"I must therefore on behalf of the good people of Ughelli South State Constituency congratulate you and your firm for achieving this milestone in your business sojourn.
