COVID-19: Nigeria records 684 new cases as Oyo topples Kano ~ Truth Reporters

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Friday night announced 684 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, taking the total infections in the country to 23,298.

The report shows that Lagos topped the chart with 259 cases, followed by Oyo with 76, Katsina reported 69 cases.

In Delta where the daughter of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has tested positive, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Dr Minnie Oseji recorded 66 cases. With his result, Delta is now the 7th most affected state with 781 cases after overtaking Ogun on 8th position with 755 cases.

Oyo also moved up with 1,264 cases to overtake Kano with 1,191 cases in the 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
