Buhari recognises Giadom as APC's Acting National Chairman ~ Truth Reporters
President Muhammadu Buhari has okayed Victor Giadom as the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), revealing he would be attending the virtual meeting of the APC convened by Giadom on Thursday.
Truth Reporters reports that Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
Shehu stated that Buhari had received enough legal advice on the position of the law as far as the situation in the party is concerned.
He further stated that the President had concluded that the law was on the side of Giadom as acting National Chairman.
“Because he will always act in accordance with the law, the President will be attending the virtual meeting Giadom called for tomorrow afternoon.
“In addition to the President, the Giadom meeting will, hopefully, be attended by our Governors and the leaders of the National Assembly,” the statement reads.
