BREAKING: PDP dissolves South South Exco, appoints Dan Orbih as Caretaker Chairman ~ Truth Reporters
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved the South South Executive of the party led by Elder Emmanuel Ogidi.
The party in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan said the tenure of the Exco has expired and has appointed a Caretaker Committee led by former Edo State Chairman of the party Chief Dan Orbih as Chairman for a period of 90 days.
He said the decision was in pursuant to Section 29(2)(b) and 31(2)(e) of the PDP Constitution (2017) as amended.
The NWC enjoined all members of the party in the South South zone to continue to work harmoniously especially as the party works with the people of Edo State for a successful governorship election in September.
