Hauz of Elnathan preaches peace, love among Nigerians at Ramadan ~ Truth Reporters

A non-governmental organization known for it's agressive campaign against the consumption of hard drugs and general drug abuse, Hauz of Elnathan, have appealed to imbibe the spirit of love and peaceful co-existence in this season of Ramadan.

In a statement released by one of it's Nigerian Face of Hope Ambassadors, Miss Rejoice Onyemaechi, the NGO said in a message to Nigerians today that only peace and tranquility can bring about genuine progress among the general population. It called on the Federal and all state governments in the country to be alive to their responsibility of making life meaningful to the people.

"Today is a special day for our Muslim brethren. This organization is joining millions of Nigerians to mark this great festival which is expected to usher-in genuine progress to this land.

"We call on all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love and peaceful co-existence irrespective of tribe, race, and religion. We must at all times note that it is only in a peaceful Nation that genuine progress can surface.

"We call on the government at all levels to show capacity in providing the basic needs of citizens especially in this era of COVID-19 pandemic. We are confident that together, we can build a truly peaceful and prosperous nation that will be an envy to other nations across the world.
