Every December 3 is a day set aside to celebrate a man of many parts whose life can best be described as from "grass to grace". A man whom God promoted from a yam seller, security man to the iconic lawmaker that he is today.

Since your emergence in the political scene, you have left no one in doubt about your vision and mission in public service, which is anchored on service to humanity.

Your belief in the Nigerian project is infectious, which underlines your conviction that a united Nigeria can be enthroned where every citizen can actualize his or her potentials in any part of the country irrespective of the person’s ethnic or religious background.

Beyond your astute representation, one secret that has kept you endeared to your people is your constant keeping in touch with them and politicians must learn this model from you if they desire to leave good legacies as representatives of the people.

Looking back to the years you have been in the struggle till date and despite all the "gang ups" and "persecutions" you continued to wax stronger in life simply because you believed in the ideology that no man is God and that only God rules in the affairs of men.

You have remained truthful and resourceful in your representation of your people of Ughelli South who found you worthy to represent them for a second time.

Those of us privileged to know you can attest to your knack for integrity, excellence and believe in brotherhood that has been our guiding principle as we trudge on in our political career.

We thank you for the many years of teaching and mentorship which no doubt has contributed immensely to where we are today.

On behalf of my family and friends i join your beloved family and constituents in celebrating a life of forthrightness and dedication to the service of the people.

May God perfect that which concerns you and grant you wisdom, health and vitality to grow further politcally in Jesus name. Amen
