Oweh Hails Tribunal Judgment, Congratulates Okowa, Deltans ~ Truth Reporters

The DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Isoko nation, Dr Paul Oweh has hailed the ruling of the governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Asaba, saying "it was a precious waste of time."

The Commissioner in a statement congratulated Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and the people of Delta state.

He said "the petition was needless and a precious waste of time.

"Delta state recorded one of the freest and fairest election that no sane mind should contest.

"The people of Delta state have expressed their love for Gov. Okowa and the PDP by freely giving their madate. Those who failed should be courageous enough to be good losers."

Oweh commended the tribunal for upholding the people's mandate which was freely given and appropriating justice where it belongs.

While congratulating the Governor, the commissioner said "the good will of Dr Okowa earned him the overwhelming support of the people and judgment is a signature for the Stronger Delta Agenda to take it's full course.

"I congratulate our amiable governor, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP family and the good people of Delta state," he added.
