Egbabor congratulates Okowa on tribunal victory ~ Truth Reporters

The Chairman Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon Emmanuel Egbabor has congratulated Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on the affirmation of his re-election by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba.

The Chairman in a statement in Ozoro on Friday thanked the judiciary, Deltans and the good people of Isoko North Local Government Area for their love and support for the Okowa administration over the years and for re-electing him back to office.

Egbabor, who was also the coordinator of the PDP Campaign Committee that coordinated the elections to victory noted that the party has been successful in the Isoko nation because the people believed in the programmes and polices of Governor Okowa and urged party leaders and to remain focused and dedicated to the cause of bringing good tidings to the people for their loyalty and support at all times.

The statement further said that the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is a testimony of the fact that hardwork, equity, fairness and justice brings peace to a people determined to make life better for themselves.

Egbabor urged the Petitioner, Chief Great Ogboru to congratulate the Governor and move on to contribute his quota to the development of the State rather than indulging in unnecessary litigation which he said was a draw back and a distraction to the government of Delta State.

"I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the learned Judges merely affirmed that Deltans overwhelmingly voted back Governor Ifeanyi Okowa because of his long standing history of performance and unwavering commitment to patriotism,"

He assured that Governor Okowa’s second coming to the Dennis Osadebay House will witness more dividends of democracy as well as better days for all Deltans through the robust implementation of the Stronger Delta agenda.
