Samuel Adjogbe Foundation Opens Applications for Third DELSU Scholarship Scheme ~ Truth Reporters

 






The Engr. Dr. Samuel Adjogbe Foundation has announced the commencement of applications for the third edition of its annual scholarship programme for outstanding students of Delta Central Senatorial District studying at Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.


The scholarship initiative, which has benefited several deserving students in its first two editions, is aimed at rewarding academic excellence while providing financial support to exceptional undergraduates pursuing their studies.


Eligible applicants are students of Medicine and Surgery, Law, Linguistics/Urhobo and Mechanical Engineering with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.50.


Interested students are required to submit application letters addressed to the Scholarship Selection Committee, indicating their department, level of study, CGPA, local government area of origin, DELSU identity card details and telephone number. Applications should be sent via email to mosesdarah@gmail.com.


The application window opened on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, and will close on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The Foundation said all submitted information would be verified by the selection committee before successful candidates are announced.


Chairman of the Foundation, Engr. Dr. Samuel Adjogbe, said the scholarship programme underscores the organisation's commitment to promoting educational advancement and preserving the Urhobo language through sustained investment in human capital.
