Yoruba Tennis Club Lecture: Andaye Hails Oborevwori's inclusive governance, nat'l unity commitment ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his visionary and inclusive leadership style , describing it as a critical foundation for national cohesion.

Andaye was strident, that the Delta State Governor has consistently demonstrated commitment to ensuring that development reaches all segments of the three senatorial districts of the state , without exclusion or political bias.

The Bomadi Council Boss , spoke on the sidelines of the Yoruba Tennis Club, Onikan, Lagos Centenary celebration, Wednesday April 29, 2026, where Governor Oborevwori delivered a lecture titled  "Inclusive Governance and National Unity: Lessons from Delta State for a More United Nigeria".

Hon Andaye, who, alongside the other 24 local government Chairmen in the state , under the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ( ALGON), Delta Chapter, joined the Governor at the event, emphasized that Oborevwori's governance style, anchored on fairness , representation , and equal opportunities, offer a strong model for other states in Nigeria, to emulate.

The Delta ALGON Secretary , stressed that sustainable peace and national unity can only be achieved when leadership reflects the needs and aspiration of all citizens, including marginalized groups.

Further highlighting the achievements of the MORE Agenda for Renewed Hope under the Oborevwori administration, the Bomadi Council Chairman listed expansion of access to health care , massive infrastructural upgrades , youth empowerment , support for widows , promotion of social inclusion across the state , which , according to him , have significantly improved living standards of Deltans while also deepening trust and unity among diverse communities.

Hon Andaye noted that the presence of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly , Rt Hon Mudasiru Obasa, has further reinforced the importance of inter-governmebtsl collaboration, further highlighting the shared responsibility of leaders to promote unity , equity, and sustainable development across the country.
