2027: Gen. Ogomudia, Ogieh Offer Prayers for Ukodhiko’s Second Term Bid ~ Truth Reporters

 

Former Chief of Defence Staff, Alexander Ogomudia, and former Managing Director of DESOPADEC, Dr Askia Ogieh, have offered prayers and goodwill for the re-election bid of the Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The gestures were made during separate consultation visits by Ukodhiko to the residences of the respected leaders in Uzere and Irri, reflecting continued engagement with key stakeholders across Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.

During the visit to Uzere, Gen. Ogomudia, a highly regarded military statesman, commended the lawmaker for what he described as purposeful representation and visible impact within his constituency. 

He acknowledged Ukodhiko’s efforts in addressing grassroots needs and maintaining close ties with his people.

While offering prayers for the lawmaker’s political future, Ogomudia emphasized the importance of sustained service and dedication to constituents, noting that effective representation requires both experience and a deep understanding of local challenges. 

He expressed hope that Ukodhiko would continue to build on his achievements in service to the people.

Similarly, at Oleh, Dr. Ogieh lauded Ukodhiko’s performance in office, describing him as focused and result-driven.

Ogieh offered prayers for Ukodhiko’s success and encouraged him to remain committed to delivering the dividends of democracy. 

He stressed the need for consistency in leadership and urged the lawmaker to sustain his engagement with constituents.

Responding, Ukodhiko expressed appreciation for the prayers, guidance, and encouragement received from both leaders, describing them as invaluable to his political journey. 

He reiterated his commitment to providing quality representation and advancing the welfare of his constituents.

The lawmaker also briefed the leaders on his achievements, including youth empowerment initiatives, educational support programmes, healthcare interventions, and infrastructure development, while assuring that more projects are in the pipeline.

As consultations ahead of the 2027 elections intensify, Ukodhiko’s outreach to influential figures and community leaders continues to form part of his broader strategy to strengthen grassroots support and consolidate his political base within the constituency.
