Ijeh Drums Support for Tinubu, Oborevwori Ahead of 2027 Elections ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Darlington Ijeh has declared his unwavering support for Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing both leaders as visionary and committed to delivering purposeful governance for the development of the country and Delta State.

Dr. Ijeh made the declaration while speaking on the need for sustained public support for leaders he said were focused on driving reforms and inclusive development across different sectors of the economy.

He described President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a bold and pragmatic roadmap aimed at repositioning Nigeria for recovery and long-term economic growth.

According to him, the President’s ongoing reforms and strategic policies are already laying the groundwork for economic stabilization, improved local governance, infrastructure expansion, and increased investor confidence.

Dr. Ijeh noted that for the full benefits of the administration’s reforms to be realized, Nigerians must remain supportive and actively participate in strengthening democratic institutions.

As part of efforts to deepen democratic participation, he called on Nigerians, particularly members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the party’s ongoing electronic registration exercise.

According to him, the APC e-registration exercise represents a critical step in strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots and ensuring wider participation of citizens in the democratic process.

Dr. Ijeh also commended Governor Oborevwori for what he described as focused and people-oriented leadership anchored on the MORE Agenda of Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security.

He said the policy framework had continued to promote inclusive growth, strengthen peace across communities, and accelerate sustainable development in Delta State.

Highlighting the governor’s grassroots orientation, Dr. Ijeh said Oborevwori’s leadership style reflects empathy, accessibility, and a deep understanding of the needs of ordinary citizens.

According to him, leadership that is rooted in the people has the capacity to transform communities and improve the overall welfare of citizens.

Dr. Ijeh concluded by reaffirming his confidence in the continuity of what he described as purposeful leadership at both the federal and state levels, expressing optimism that the joint ticket of Tinubu and Oborevwori in 2027 remains achievable with sustained public support.
