Andaye Bags Kwame Nkrumah Special Award ~ Truth Reporters

For his "courageous , people-centred leadership style and consistent commitment to transparency in the administration of Bomadi Local Government Council Area , an Accra, Ghana , based African Network for Accountability, has bestowed the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah Special Award of Recognition for Peace, Transparency and Community Development , on Bomadi Council Chairman , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye .

The Kwame Nkrumah Special Award bestowed on Hon Andaye by the Accra based body committed to promoting accountability , ethical leadership , and good governance , across Africa , was presented at an impressive ceremony at Kpakiama Urban in the local government area.

According to the Accra based African Network for Accountability , the Bomadi Council Chairman's governance approach, has strengthened peace , encouraged community participation in governance , and promoted sustainable grassroots development , earning him continental recognition.

While commending Andaye's accountability , integrity and dedication to public service , the group noted that his leadership style reflects the ideals of responsible governance championed across Africa .

The formal presentation of the continental award was performed by Director of Country , Nigeria, Dr Monday Azu, Assistant Director of Country , based in Ghana, Miss Sandra Jonathan , as well as Director of Media also based in Ghana , Cynthia Mensah.

In his acceptance speech , an elated Bomadi Council Chairman, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , described the recognition as a motivation to continue serving his people with transparency and fairness, thus reaffirming his commitment to sustaining peace , strengthening accountability , and advancing inclusive community development , in Bomadi Local Government Area.
