31km Ohoror-Bomadi Road: Safugha Hails Oborevwori's Riverine Areas Commitment ~ Truth Reporters

A former Commissioner for Energy in Delta State , Barr Newworld Safugha, has hailed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's massive infrastructural drive in the riverine areas of Delta State , describing the initiative as breakthrough for enhanced socio-economic development for beneficiary communities .

The Bomadi local government APC stalwart , also added that, the Governor has broken the jinx of road connectivity and inclusivity in the five benefitting local government areas that benefit from the project.

Speaking with newsmen on the sidelines of the inauguration of the project on Tuesday March 17, 2026 at the Bomadi stretch of the road project , Safugha recalled the dangers faced by commuters and other road users along the corridor , to include accidents , kidnappings and other vices,

He said that with the inauguration of the rehabilitation of the road and subsequent commissioning , the people along the various communities will witness unprecedented upsurge in their economic fortunes and social activities.

Safugha paid glowing tributes to the people in the five local governments within the corridor for their patience and belief in the government, saying that at long last , their patience has paid off

The former Commissioner , now an Executive Assistant to Governor Oborevwori, charged the people of Bomadi in particular, and the benefitting four local governments of Ughelli North and South, Patani, and Burutu, respectively , to continue to remain supportive of President Bola Tinubu and Gov Oborevwori , respectively , for their second term in office to be achieved, in 2027.

Safugha sued for support for sustained support for the proof in the LGA, assuring that no stone will be left unturned to achieve set goals
