2027: Emede APC Stakeholders Endorse Joel-Onowakpo, Obrogo for Senate, Assembly ~ Truth Reporters

 

Leaders, executives, and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Emede have unanimously endorsed Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and Prince Dennis Kola Obrogo, JP, as their preferred candidates for the Delta South Senatorial District and Isoko South Constituency I seat, respectively.

The endorsement was the outcome of a well-attended meeting held in Asaba on March 23, 2026, where party leaders deliberated on the results of a mock primary election earlier conducted in Emede on March 21.

According to a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, stakeholders formally accepted the outcome of the mock election, which saw Prince Dennis Kola Obrogo emerge victorious among aspirants from Emede vying for the Delta State House of Assembly seat representing Isoko South Constituency I.

Following the acceptance of the results, the stakeholders unanimously adopted Obrogo as the sole candidate of Emede for the constituency, expressing confidence in his capacity to provide effective representation.

In a similar vein, the meeting also endorsed Distinguished Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas as the sole candidate of Emede Ward 05 for the Delta South Senatorial District position.

The stakeholders described the decisions as a reflection of unity, transparency, and a shared commitment to credible leadership and electoral success within the party.

They emphasized that the consensus reached would strengthen the APC’s chances in forthcoming elections, while fostering cohesion among party members in Emede and the broader Isoko South axis.

The meeting was attended by prominent party figures, including Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, Hon. Barr. Orezi Esievo, Pastor Austin Igbine, Ward Chairman Efe Osahere, Sir Emma Ozaudu Usiakpo, Independence I. Godstime, Chief Patrick Egbuwoku, Comrade Ogaga Egbuwoku, Dr. Endurance Edafewotu, Chief Enifome Ethe, Johnson Obrogo, as well as other party executives, leaders, and stakeholders.
