A one time Commissioner for Environment in Delta State, Omordi George Ugbomah, has described the election of Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Dennis Emomotimi Guwor, as Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, as a significant milestone for legislative leadership in Nigeria.

Omordi Dr Ugbomah equally said that the Delta Speaker's emergence to lead the very strategic body , is an indication of the vibrant synergy existing between the Legislature in the state, and the Executive and Legislative Arms, which have translated in tangible development of the the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori led Renewed Hope for More Agenda programme.
