Bomadi Chairman’s Wife, Rejoice Andaye Hosts LGA Prayer Meeting, Council Boss Commends Chairpersons ~ Truth Reporters

The monthly prayer meeting and fellowship of wives of local government Chairmen , has been hosted by Bomadi local government, with the Council Boss, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, highlighting the vital role of the local governments Chairmen's wives in promoting peace and stability with their intercessions.

In that vein, Hon Andaye commended the local government Chairmen's spouses for their ongoing prayers and unwavering support for their husbands and local communities.

Speaking at the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra Modern Event Centre , Friday February 27th , 2026, at Bomadi , headquarters of the local government area, Hon Andaye highlighted their vital role in promoting peace and stability , thus reiterating his commitment, alongside his Council Chairmen colleagues in Delta State , to support such initiatives that enhance the lives of their constituents.

Said the Bomadi Council Chairman to his colleagues wives:"Your prayers and encouragement have helped me and my colleagues across the state. We are indeed grateful for your standing in the gap in prayers and intercession, to ensure we succeed in driving meaningful development , to our various local governments".

The Coordinator of the local government Chairmen's wives group and wife of the Aniocha South Local Government Chairman, Mrs Emmanuella Chukwunweike, expressed profound appreciation to Hon Dagidi Andaye and his wife , Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye , for hosting the February version of their prayer meeting and fellowship.

She emphasized the importance of aligning the prayer sessions with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's MORE agenda , alongside the initiative of the state first lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori's "U-Matter Charity Foundation".

Also lending her voice , wife of lka South Council Chairman , Mrs Efechukwu Ehiwarior, praised Hon Dagidi Andaye for his tangible and significant infrastructural developmental strides in Bomadi , while extending prayers for continued blessings and protection for him and family.

For her part, wife of the Bomadi Council Chairman and Chief host of the event, Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye , expressed her gratitude to all the local government chairpersons , for their sacrifice in attending the monthly prayer meeting , while underscoring the impact of their prayers in attracting blessings and peace for the state , and by extension, the 25 local government areas.

The gathering which featured robust interactions among the chairpersons and intercessory prayers, is designed to rotate among the 25 local government areas , fostering unity , mutual support , and spiritual upliftment among the chairpersons of the local governments in Delta.
