The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye; the Member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Hon. Nicholas Mutu; and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bomadi have commended the emergence of Mr. Perekeme Seleyeibo as the consensus Chairman of the party in the local government area.

The leaders unanimously reaffirmed their commitment to securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The resolution was reached at the Bomadi APC Local Government Congress held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Bomadi Town Hall.

The congress, which was moderated by Hon. Andaye, witnessed the adoption of a 27-member executive committee led by Mr. Perekeme Seleyeibo.

The motion for the adoption of the executive was moved by Hon. William Angadi and seconded by Gabriel Yabaka, Esq., before being ratified by a voice vote.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Andaye described governance at all levels as an instrument of divine orchestration.

He noted that the emergence of the consensus executive followed extensive consultations among party leaders and stakeholders, stressing that the nominations reflected the collective interest of the APC in Bomadi.

In his valedictory address, the outgoing APC Chairman in Bomadi, Mr. Kayode Tinaka, expressed appreciation to party leaders and members for their overwhelming support throughout his tenure.

Following a voice vote initiated by Hon. Andaye, a resounding “ayes” confirmed the endorsement of the Seleyeibo-led executive.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Mr. Perekeme Seleyeibo, thanked party leaders and members for the confidence reposed in him and his team to pilot the affairs of the party over the next four years.

He paid tribute to Senator James Manager, Hon. Nicholas Mutu, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, and other leaders whose unity of purpose ensured the smooth adoption of the consensus list.

Hon. Nicholas Mutu, in his remarks, urged the new executive to avoid one-sided tendencies in decision-making, emphasizing that the Bomadi APC remains one united family committed to delivering victory for all party candidates in 2027.

Goodwill messages emphasizing inclusiveness and party unity ahead of the 2027 general elections were delivered by frontline woman leader and former Vice Chairman of Bomadi Local Government, Hon. Flora Bripú, and the Executive Assistant to the Governor, Mr. Deingham Macaulay.
