Yuletide: Akpusa Rekindles Hope of the Common Man ~ Truth Reporters

It was a moment of joy and celebration across communities in Isoko Nation as hope was rekindled for the common man through the Yuletide outreach of the Chief Executive Officer of Vowgas Group, Engr. (Evang.) Akpusa Godwin Izomor, popularly known as Odhokpa.

The philanthropist distributed Christmas packages to more than 21 communities across Isoko Nation, marking a momentous and heartwarming celebration during the festive season.

The initiative, described as unprecedented in recent times, brought smiles to countless families and vividly underscored the spirit of love, unity and compassion that defines the Christmas season.

The distribution exercise was carried out transparently and equitably, attracting widespread commendation and applause from beneficiaries across the various communities. 

Benefiting communities included Ozoro Kingdom, Ellu, Aradhe, Ovrode, Oyede, Okpe-Isoko, Ofagbe, Owhelogbo, Otor-Owhe, Otor-Igho, Akiewhe and Emevor.

Communities in Isoko South were also well represented, including Idheze, Irri, Aviara, Araya, Uzere, Oleh and Olomoro, while Orie and Emede equally enjoyed the goodwill of the business mogul.

The philanthropic gesture was widely applauded as exceptional and rare, further reinforcing Engr. Akpusa Godwin Izomor’s reputation as a committed humanitarian with a deep passion for community development and human welfare.

The renowned philanthropist was ably represented by a delegation led by the General Manager of Vowgas Group, Engr. Anthony Ogilo, alongside Mr. Tigana Izomor, Comr. Lajero Akporero, Patrick Aragba, members of the Isoko Front Coalition (IFC) Monitoring Team led by Comr. Israel Izomor, and the media team led by Comr. Onakome Michael.

Speaking during the distribution exercise in Ozoro, Engr. Ogilo described Engr. (Evang.) Akpusa Godwin Izomor as a beacon of hope for the hopeless, noting that his selfless generosity, especially in the face of prevailing economic challenges, was aimed at cushioning the effects of hardship on families during the festive season.

Engr. Ogilo urged beneficiaries and members of the public to continue to pray for the oil and gas entrepreneur, stressing that his goodwill reflects a sustained commitment to community engagement, social support and humanity, without any expectation of reward.
