Oba-Elect Olowolekomoh Declares Support for K1 De Ultimate as Next Awujale ~ Truth Reporters

 

 

The Oba-elect of Odo-Nla Kingdom in Ikorodu, Lagos State, His Royal Majesty Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh, Fuwagbade IV, has declared his unwavering support for Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adewale Anifowoshe, MON (K1 De Ultimate), as the preferred candidate for the revered throne of Awujale of Ijebu-Ode.

 

Speaking on behalf of the Fidipote (Fidipotemole) Ruling House Descendants, Oba-elect Olowolekomoh highlighted the deep ancestral connections between their families, tracing their common heritage to the historic Fidipote Royal Dynasty of Idewon Quarters, Ijebu-Ode. He noted that this is the same royal lineage through which his own forebears—particularly Oba Odeyemi Adeesho Ademuyewo ‘Ofiran’, progenitor of the Odo-Nla Kingdom—emerged.

 

“It is with a profound sense of heritage, unity, and enduring brotherhood that I offer my full support to Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adewale Anifowoshe,” Olowolekomoh said in a statement issued from Odo-Nla. He added that the globally acclaimed Fuji music icon is eminently qualified to ascend the stool of the paramount ruler of Ijebuland. “Beyond his international acclaim and cultural contributions, he remains a proud son of our shared Fidipote Royal House. Our bond spans decades, both at home and abroad, and it is an honour to stand with him as our unanimously endorsed candidate for the Awujale throne.”

 

K1 De Ultimate on Thursday formally expressed his intention to contest for the Awujale of Ijebuland, submitting a letter to the Fasengbuwa Ruling House— the family statutorily empowered to present candidates for the succession. In the letter, he traced his lineage to the ruling dynasty and asserted his eligibility for the esteemed position. He publicly declared his ambition on Friday.

 

An excerpt from the letter issued by the Fidipotemole Royal Dynasty of Idewon Quarters, Ijebu-Ode, further reinforced the collective endorsement of K1 De Ultimate:

 

 

“We present with one voice, Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adewale Anifowoshe, MON (Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu – K1 De Ultimate), as our unanimously chosen candidate for the next Awujale of Ijebu-Ode Kingdom.”

 

 

The Fidipotemole (Fidipote) Ruling House comprises the descendants of Oba Odeyemi Adeesho Ademuyewo, popularly known as Ofiran, progenitor of the Odo-Nla Kingdom. The royal lineage, also known as the Omoba Mẹ́tà Royal Family, is under the leadership of the Oba-elect, HRM Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh, Fuwagbade IV.
