Andaye, wife, Mutu, others, receive CAN awards ~ Truth Reporters

In recognition of his people oriented leadership style , commitment to good governance , and consistent support for faith-based initiatives and community development within Bomadi local Government Area, the Executive Chairman of Bomadi local government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has bagged an award of Outstanding Leadership, Selfless Devotion and Impactful Service from the Christian Association of Nigeria ( CAN), Bomadi chapter.

Also honoured were the wife of the Bomadi Council Boss, Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye , and member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Nicholas Mutu

They were recognized for their remarkable support support , dedication and service to humanitarian and Christian causes.

The awards were presented on Friday December 26th , 2025, during the CAN Annual End-of-Year Thanksgiving and Award Service , held at Covenant of Glory International Church , Inc, Bomadi .

The well attended and spirit-filled programme, brought together Christian leaders, government officials , and members of the Christian Community who gathered to give thanks to God and celebrate exemplary service

CAN noted that Hon Dagidi Andaye's leadership has been characterized by humility, inclusiveness , and a strong sense of responsibility to both God and the people .

It further noted that the Bomadi Council Chairman's administration has continued to promote peace, unity , and moral values, while strengthening collaboration between government and the church.

The recognition by CAN, Bomadi Chapter, of Hon Andaye, his wife, Mrs Rejoice Andaye, Hon Nicholas Mutu, and indeed other awardees , reflects the association's  appreciation of individuals whose lives and services exemplify integrity, faith , and commitment to societal growth, with the awards serving as encouragement for sustained selfless service and a reminder of the enduring value of righteous leadership in nation building.
