Andaye Provides Yuletide Support to Elderly, Vulnerable in Bomadi ~ Truth Reporters

In recognition of the 2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities ( PWD), Bomadi Council Chairman, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has doled out financial assistance and essential food items to elderly citizens in the area.

The altruistic show by Hon Andaye , coincided with the December 2025 edition of the Bomadi Elderly Citizens Empowerment Programme ( BECEP), which further demonstrates Andaye,s unwavering commitment to social welfare with special emphasis on the elderly

The event, which held on Thursday , December 4, 2025 , at the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-moden Multi purpose Event Centre in Bomadi, continues to serve as a flagship initiative of the Andaye-led administration, reflecting a governance philosophy centred on compassion, inclusion, and tangible support for the most vulnerable members of the community .

During the outreach , elderly citizens across Bomadi Local Government Area, received incentives to compensate them for devoting their lives to nurturing their families, fostering community development, and contributing to the growth and stability of the local government.

According to Hon Dagidi Andaye, the initiative of his administration underscores his commitment to ensuring that senior citizens are accorded the care, dignity, and respect, they richly deserve.

In their separate remarks, officials of Bomadi local government council who supervised the transparent exercise, noted that BECEP is a structured and highly sustained programme , designed not merely as an enduring commitment to uplift and prioritize the welfare of the elderly and vulnerable to Bomadi, but also to appreciate their labour of love and assure them that they are part of the Andaye administration,s fidelity to all constituents.
