Bomadi Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has said that the series of awards recently conferred on him are not personal milestones but shared honours that reflect the collective support, prayers, and goodwill of the people of Bomadi.

 

Speaking at a grand reception held in his hometown, Kpakiama community, Hon. Andaye reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining quality leadership and deepening developmental strides across Bomadi Local Government Area.

 

The reception was organised by the community in celebration of his remarkable string of national honours earned within a period of less than two weeks, both from within and outside Delta State.

 

In their separate goodwill messages, community leaders, traditional rulers, youth groups, and stakeholders expressed profound pride in Hon. Andaye’s impactful leadership, integrity, and transformational governance style, which they noted have continued to attract recognition not only to Bomadi LGA but also to Kpakiama community.

 

They highlighted the recent distinctions bestowed on him, including the **“Best Performing Local Government Chairman in Nigeria 2025”**, **“Outstanding Local Government Chairman”**, and the **“Transformational Development Legacy Award”** presented by *Time Africa Magazine (Abuja)*, the *National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS)* at its national headquarters, and the *Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)*, respectively. According to the stakeholders, these honours are a testament to his visionary leadership, commitment to grassroots development, effective administration, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of his people.

 

Traditional rulers and elders applauded Hon. Andaye for consistently projecting Bomadi LGA positively at the national level, while youth and women groups described him as an exemplary role model whose achievements continue to inspire younger generations.

 

The colourful event featured prayers for the continued success of the Delta ALGON Secretary, cultural performances, and renewed expressions of unity and pride among the people.

 

The Council Chairman’s wife, Hon. (Mrs.) Rejoice Andaye, and other top officials of the Council were present at the epoch-making celebration.
