The Senator representing Taraba Central , Senator Manu Haruna on Tuesday led Taraba State Government, to visit Niger State to express condolences and solidarity in the wake of the devastating floods that struck Mokwa.
Accompanied by Hon. Danladi Baido Tijos, the delegation was warmly received at the Government House in Minna.
During the visit, Senator Haruna referred to the flood as a "monumental loss" and a "national disaster," emphasizing the collective sorrow of the Taraba State government for the victims and their families affected by this calamity.
In a show of support, he announced a significant donation of N50 million aimed at aiding the recovery efforts for the impacted communities.
