2nd Anniversary: Gov. Oborevwori Has Prioritized Youth Inclusion, Infrastructure Devt in Delta – Sagboje ~ Truth Reporters

As Delta State marks the second anniversary of the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State, a youth Advocate and Executive Director of the Delta Ecosystem Restoration Initiative (DERI), Comr. Odiri Milton Sagboje CLN, has commended the Governor for his deliberate policies and visible achievements in the areas of youth inclusion, empowerment, and infrastructural development across the state.
Speaking to journalists in Asaba during the Thanksgiving and Praise Day, Comr. Sagboje described Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda as a people-centered roadmap that has continued to yield meaningful impact, particularly for the youth population.
“In just two years, we have witnessed a Governor who is not only committed to continuity but has boldly expanded opportunities for youths, empowered entrepreneurs through the More Grant Programme, and demonstrated sincerity in delivering infrastructural projects that connect the three Senatorial Districts and boost economic growth,” He stated.
He noted that under Oborevwori’s leadership, several youths have been appointed into key political and administrative positions, signaling a clear commitment to generational transition and participatory governance.
Sagboje said that the Governor was very much aware that youth are not just leaders of tomorrow, but stakeholders of today, adding that his inclusive governance style had given many of many individuals in the state, the confidence to contribute actively to the development of Delta State.
He lauded the administration for the Ughelli-Asaba Dualization projects, various urban renewal initiatives, critical interventions in education and healthcare, describing them as “critical foundations for sustainable development.”
While commending the administration’s efforts so far, he called on Deltans across political, ethnic, and religious divides to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in achieving more for the people of the state.
“Our collective progress depends on the success of this administration. Let us rally around Governor Oborevwori and give him the support he needs to do even more in the coming years,” he urged.
