Nwugo Debunks Alleged Video of Idumuesah Women Rejecting Okowa as False, Misleading ~ Truth Reporters

A prominent leader of Idumuesah Ward 10 in Ika North East Local Government Area, Professor Frank Onyisi Nwugo, has dismissed a circulating social media video claiming that women of the community rejected former Governor Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
He described the video as "false, misleading, and a lie from the pit of hell."
Professor Nwugo, a Professor of Artificial Intelligence in Finance and Taxation and current Executive Director of Operations at the Delta State Internal Revenue Service (DSIRS), stated that the video had been deliberately misrepresented by known social media personality Fejiro Oliver.
According to him, the incident at the empowerment programme was merely a protest by some women who noted that certain names on the beneficiary list had already benefitted from earlier programmes. The women appealed to Okowa for fairness, and he responded by instructing that only first-time beneficiaries be included.
“At no point did the women reject or revolt against Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa,” Nwugo clarified. “I was present at the event. The women simply appealed for equity, which the former Governor promptly addressed. They later praised him as a fair and impartial leader.”
He accused Fejiro Oliver of twisting the incident into a false narrative aimed at maligning the former Governor. “This is typical of Fejiro’s pattern of blackmail and misinformation,” he said.
Professor Nwugo urged Oliver to seek a lawful and dignified means of livelihood, warning that the people of Idumuesah have invoked a curse upon him for spreading falsehoods and demanded a public apology to avoid further consequences.
He reaffirmed that Idumuesah Ward 10 and the entire Ika nation remain solidly behind Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, praising his legacy and leadership as a two-term Governor who brought pride and progress to the community.
