Chief Ekuogbe Rowland Akpodiete PhD was born on the 4th of April, 1924 and passed on the 9th April 1995. In a life of achievement in several and diverse spheres Chief Ekuogbe Akpodiete was an assessment clerk, a post office clerk, court interpreter, political party Chieftain, Barrister and Solicitor, Magistrate and finally, Otota and Urhukperovie of Ughelli polity one of the high traditional chieftaincy offices that underpin the royal office of the Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom.
