Children, Celebrate Your Parents When They Are Still Alive....... Rev. Omo-Obi ~ Truth Reporters

A Minister of the Gospel of Christ, Rev. Henry Omo-Obi has enjoined Children to always celebrate their Parents when they are still alive so that they will continue to receive their blessings.

Rev. Omo-Obi gave this charge while delivering an exhortation on the occasion of the 80th birthday held in Benin City, Edo State, for Deaconess (Mrs) Esther Erebe by her children.

The cleric called on children to always take good care of their parents by giving them quality living, ensure they stay in good homes, eat quality food at all times and not wait until they are dead before throwing lavish funerals for them.

The cleric stated that when parents are celebrated, it gives them joy and happiness, which further elongates their lives.

The man of God, while extolling the qualities of Deaconess Erebe, said she is a devout Christian who took her time to bring up all her children in the ways of the Lord. The Cleric congratulated the children for honouring their mother in a such a grand style.

The eldest child of the celebrant, Omamuzo Erebe Esq., Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Delta who spoke on behalf of his siblings  thanked all who honoured their invitation to celebrate their mother.

High points of the event was sharing of memories by family members including invited guests and church members, slideshow/video Presentation, Special Performance by the Emidaka Musical Troupe from Jesse, cutting of Cake/ Presentation of Gifts and prayers for the celebrant and family members etc.
