Obaro Charity Foundation pays WAEC fees for 85 Isoko North students ~ Truth Reporters

 

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Rosewood Retreat Hotel, and Founder of Obaro Charity Foundation (OCF), Ozoro Delta state, Engr Obaro Freedom Burutu, has paid enrolment fees for Eighty Five (85) students across Isoko North LGA for the upcoming West African Examinations Council (WAEC). 

The project which is sponsored by the Obaro Charity Foundation gave out three million, six hundred and twenty six thousand naira #3,626,000. 

Speaking during the presentation at Igbonine Grammar School Ozoro, Obaro who outlined the criteria for the selection of the 85 students across Secondary Schools in Isoko North LGA said the Program was in line with “The vision and mission of the Foundation". 

The CEO, Obaro Freedom Burutu said "the criteria was simply based on merit and also loves seeing the education of the youths and children blossoming especially in the Isoko nation. 

He used the opportunity to admonish the selected students to live up to expectations of those who committed huge resources into their education assuring that more opportunities abound so long as they excel in their academic pursuits. 

Receiving the cheque from Obaro Charity Foundation on behalf of the students and parents of the selected students, Chairman Nigeria Union Of Teachers (NUT) Isoko North, Mr Ubido Godswill commended Obaro Freedom Burutu for the kind gesture describing it as unprecedented and worthy of commendation and emulation. 

Also the CEO and founder of Obaro Charity Foundation, During the meeting gave a student from Government Secondary School Owhelogbo, Ubogu Avurakoghene Favour who is also the Head girl of the school who lost both her parents in a fatal accident the sum of Five hundred thousand naira. (#500,000) and a Scholarship throughout her University level of the school of her choice in Nigeria.
