6years in the saddle: Hurray to the Speakers' Speaker ~ Truth Reporters

Deltans, let us today celebrate a chain record breaker and a pacesetter of a zillion novel aspirations.

Let us celebrate a man of manifolds of first. First speaker to spend a record 6years in office. First Speaker to head 2 Assemblies. First community leader to rise to the position of speaker and later governor. First Delta Speaker to be Governor. First Urhobo governor of Okpe extraction.  

Today let us celebrate God's own General who defiled his limitations to become towering great.  A man who rose from the dust of the streets to the hall of fame of nobles. A man who has dedicated all of his life to the service of Delta and Deltans. 

As Deltans celebrate today the 6th concurrent year in office as Speaker and head of the Legislative arm of Government of Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori JP FICMC, it is our prayers that our state continue to sit on the tripod of uncommon progress, peace and tranquility.  Come May 29th, we will usher-in a Government voted into power by MORE votes of Deltans signalling an new order of MORE and ADVANCED prosperity for all.
