BREAKING: Benue PDP ward suspends national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu ~ Truth Reporters

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended its National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, for alleged anti-party activities.

The suspension was carried out by the Ward Executive of the party in Igyorov Ward of Gboko Local Government Area, Benue state.

The decision was reached after the leadership reviewed his conduct during the just concluded general elections.

According to the Ward Secretary, Mr. Vangeryina Dooyum, Ayu failed to pay his annual subscription fees and did not vote during the Governorship and State Assembly Elections held on March 18, 2023.

The suspension takes effect immediately.
